"SWEET" JOHN COLEMAN

"Sweet" John Coleman was discovered by Scott during their tour of duty at Cornell College. Sweetjohn had a really cool amp, and Ron had a really hot amp (so hot that it had just burned to ashes in a tragic fire). With a fist full of insurance money (his own and Pat's), Ron purchased Sweetjohn's 100 watt Silver Series Marshall Special Edition for a pittance, and went on his way. Like most people that have contact with Sweetjohn, Ron was unable to put him out of his mind, and our collective obsession with his sweetness (and propensity to sell us his band equipment for ridiculously low prices) eventually outfitted the band with 75% of our equipment, and produced a shared, unyielding desire to live with him in a van and make him lift our equipment for free. Years later, our dream was realized, and after long and bitter negotiation sessions, Sweetjohn finally accepted our generous offer of absolutely no money whatsoever to tour with us as our roadie.

Mysterious, industrious, and nomadic, Sweetjohn made the perfect roadie for the spiritually aimless Kill Creek. His vast knowledge of McGyver-like solutions to all problems mechanical was uncanny, and his shy, unassuming character left plenty of room for the band's rapidly bulging egos. He also had a knack for being charming during the periods that everyone else around him refused to be the least bit amiable. He also took turns baby sitting whomever was most grumpy and downright offensive at any given time during stressful episodes on the road.

John Coleman Pic"Sweetjohn", America's most eligible bachelor, being graduated from High School in 1988.

Sweetjohn was born on April 7, 1970. He is approximately six feet tall and 145 pounds. He is infatuated with guns, bikes, all things mechanical, and he has a really ugly dog. He is cheap to feed, and fun to dress. He is now living in Minneapolis (which is in Canada, we think), and has a phone once in a while. He has retired (without benefits) from Kill Creek's payroll, and is rumored to own a bike store in Minneapolis.
