SHAW WILSON
During one of Kill Creek's drummer droughts, Shaw Wilson was recruited vigorously by the band. They had admired his legendary skills as a rockabilly drummer around the Lawrence area for years, and decided that they HAD to have him. Undeniably the best looking, most stylish and charismatic person ever to play with the band, Shaw's chiseled good looks and debonair aura were unfortunately an obvious clash the first time he practiced with the band. This is probably the primary reason that it was the only time he practiced with the band. After a tearful departure, friendships were mended, and Shaw left town to pursue music in the great state of Nashville (south of Tennessee; famous for country music, The Battle of Lexington, and tobacco). In Nashville, Shaw sought comfort in the arms of ex-Lawrence pinup Chuck Meade, and after various projects, they teamed up with a slew of other Nashville prodigies, and thus spake "BR5-49". Signed to Arista records, BR5-49 assured themselves a place in music history as the band with Kill Creek's ex-drummer-for-one-practice. That and the fact that they is sure one damn suave bunch.
