All players go to college. Ron blows school loan money on illicit drugs and guitar pedals. Ron drops out of college --- goes back two spaces. Scott goes to school in Iowa --- moves ahead three spaces. Drummer still grappling with game instructions.




Scott drops out of school for Fall semester, 1988 --- loses one turn, but goes "straight" and gets to cash in "FREE SPIN" chip. Band changes name to Kill Creek and records in the studio for the first time. Many songs have dorky, clichéd, D.C. "straight-edge" theme --- other players get to move 3 spaces away from Scott as "straight-edge" thing becomes unbearably annoying. Thankfully, he goes back to school. "Nasty" Nick moves to L.A. and surrenders experience points to Pat.




Ron and Pat visit Scott in Iowa on the last weekend of his finals. After breaking into Scott's apartment, Ron and Pat meet Matt Collins (eventual Drummer #2) --- Lawrence, Kansas (the entire city) goes back to START. Many beers are consumed and players stay up until dawn. Scott sleeps through last final --- goes back two spaces. More beers are consumed --- players gain 10 hit points. Even more beer is consumed --- each player loses 20 hit points. Players go to small drinking hole and interact with promiscuous conservatives. Pat goes home with one --- loses turn and five saving throws. Players leave Iowa and head back to Lawrence - Iowans move ahead two spaces. Pipe bomb / Toyota Corolla incident (see link) --- all players lose 30 intelligence points.




Summer, '89: "Stealth Summer"; drummer joins game, albeit reluctantly --- immediately goes back two spaces. Pat grows weary of Bohemians in art school and begins to question own talent --- loses turn. Players ponder becoming international rockstars and spend idle time honing basketball skills. Pat develops formidable inside game --- gains 10 strength points. Band unable to find practice space. Players are forced to practice in sealed tin storage shed during smoldering 110 degree summer heat and lose 3 years off their lives. Due to executive decision, no shows are played (ergo, "Stealth") --- players lose 100 intelligence points.
